Pastor's Passion:
(Seeing) Transformation in People: the process of dying to one's self and becoming like Christ; a spiritual heart transplant.
“With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ's being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.” Romans 8:1&2 (tm)

Karen Davis

Karen has been married for 18 years and has three children, all of whom are growing up much too fast! Karen has been teaching children, starting with VBS and Sunday School, since she was in junior high. She continued this interest in teaching by earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at Greenville College, a Free Methodist college in IL . Since then, God has opened up many opportunities for her to teach and work with children. In 2000, He blessed her with the opportunity to become the Director of Promiseland at The Connection. She is thankful for being able to share the love of Jesus with so many children each year through this ministry.
