HOMEGROUP

Each Sunday morning we hear an inspired gospel message.  We're stirred.  We're challenged.  But, how are we going to allow that inspired message to change our lives?  We'll talk about it at HOMEGROUP. Each Sunday we greet each other.  But, sometimes important conversations are interrupted by the lack of time.  We re-connect at HOMEGROUP, share our hearts, encourage each other, and pray specifically about the life events that have the potential to contribute to our spiritual growth. God has given each of us gifts that we are to use for the edification of the body.  Fellowship is one medium that allows us to exercise our gifts.  Fellowship helps to connect us to God, and fellowship helps connect us to each other.

HOMEGROUP is an event that allows us to be family.  There are no age requirements or restrictions.  That's on purpose.  Our children benefit from a plethora of grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles.  Dads and moms are encouraged to discover they aren't alone in the challenges they face.  Our younger Christians benefit from the presence and advice of more experienced Christians.  Our older adults benefit from the chance to bounce a baby on their knee.  We grow spiritually together, so we can impact our individual worlds with the Salt and Light of the Gospel that defines our lives.

James, Jesus' brother, wrote, "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says" (James 1.22).  HOMEGROUP is where we discover how to do just that.
